The Process

The Flight Package
After you make the initial payment we will mail you a Flight package that includes the contract, the custom made ash capsule and a reply paid package so that you can send the contract and the capsule back to Stratos Afterlife once you have filled the capsule and completed the contract. We request that you include a photograph of your loved one when you return this so we can send the photograph into the stratosphere along with the ashes. We will engrave your loved ones name on the capsule along with the date and height achieved on the flight.

The Flight
Once the package is returned to Stratos Afterlife we will inform you of the planned flight date, if this date changes due to weather conditions then you will be informed of this as soon as possible. The flight will be captured on multiple HD cameras and professionally edited so you can experience the flight of your loved one and see the release of the ashes.

The Memorial Package
Once the flight is complete, we will mount your loved ones photograph, the engraved capsule, a Blu-Ray & DVD copy of the flight and an engraved plaque with a message of your choice, in a custom made leather bound memorial case. All of this to give you a lasting memorial to your loved one.
